Global Sailing Base is located in the village of Karacasogut, tucked into the Gulf of Gokova.
Hidden among pine trees and olive groves, filled with the intoxicating aroma of wild thyme, sage and bay leaves, you will find one of the few unspoilt cruising grounds remaining in Turkey. The bay of Karacasögüt is naturally protected against winds from all directions.
With easy access from both Dalaman and Bodrum International airports and only 20 minutes drive from the cosmopolitan town of Marmaris, it is conveniently located close to civilization but worlds apart in the sense of noise, traffic, meat packed beaches and buzzing hotels. The only sounds you’ll hear are the hum of the bees, the birds and the wind ruffling the leaves of the olive trees.
Unlike any of the packed marinas scattered along the coast, you can actually dive into the turquoise sea directly from your boat, snorkel in the crystal clear waters or take a hike thorough the pine forest that surrounds our premises.
